I don’t have a direct online shop on this website for those who would like to buy faster because all my works are also on 2 shops on the Etsy platform and I wouldn’t want a painting to be bought twice at the same moment

The price of the works is increased on Etsy because they take a commission. When you contact me I deactivate on Etsy the works that have interested you.

First of all, think about what you want. For all the work I will need 1 or more photos (if possible) but as the techniques, formats and subjects are different, please consult the dedicated pages which will help you to visualise and choose what is possible.
Then contact me by email (franzainal AT yahoo.fr) mentioning the following datas:
– Your contact details and whether we can arrange a telephone appointment
– Indicate what you want: subject, (full length portrait or face house, animal, landscape…) the technique and format etc….
– Tell me the method of payment chosen (bank transfer or cb/paypal payment)
– Specify if you allow me to publish a photo of the work on my website

Once we have agreed on what you want, I will send you a quote-invoice by Paypal for the amount of the deposit indicating the total of the order + shipping as well as my contact details. A link on this invoice allows you to pay online by credit card or paypal account. However you can also pay by bank transfer the IBAN/BIC being written on this invoice

If you pay the deposit by bank transfer then you will need to confirm the order by email otherwise the payment of the deposit on the paypal interface acts as confirmation
After receiving the deposit, I will confirm by email the final receipt of your order and the estimated time for its completion which is usually 1 to 2 weeks except for oil paintings which require some drying time.
If you have a deadline for a gift, please let me know. Please also take into account the periods preceding the major dates (Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s and Father’s Day) which can extend the completion date as I then have more orders.
When the painting is finished, I will take a photograph of it and send it to you by email, I can then make some alterations according to your indications
After your approval you will receive a paypal invoice for the balance of the price of the painting. I will send you the painting/drawing within 3/5 working days of receiving the balance payment

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
The following paragraphs are intended to define the general conditions of sale on the website www.franzainal.com of Françoise Zainal painter
DEFINITIONS
Seller (artist): Françoise Zainal
Buyer: any natural person wishing to purchase a work offered for sale by françoise Zainal on the website www.franzainal.com The sale of works is open to persons with the legal capacity to contract under the law applicable in France
Work: any work of art presented on the site www.franzainal.com
PRICES
Prices are quoted in Euro
All prices shown are net as I am exempt from french VAT according to article 273b
Any customs charges are to be paid by the buyer.
PAYMENT
The seller and buyer will agree on the total amount (work+shipping cost) and the method of payment by email or telephone then the buyer will send his details by email (address, telephone) The seller will establish an invoice that paypal will send by email that the buyer can pay by paypal account or credit card. It is possible to make a bank transfer or to pay by French bank check. The iban/bic and the exact details of the seller are indicated on the paypal invoice
DELIVERY
All works are shipped with a certificate of authenticity
Postage for miniatures is 5 € (euro) for France and 9 € euros for other countries for other works it depends on the postal rate for their size, the buyer will indicate it during the exchanges before ordering
All works are sent by registered mail with signature and ad Valorem insurance
Framing : The works shipped are not framed. For the miniatures, if you want the frame seen on the photograph, it will be charged to you at cost price, i.e. 8€.
The works are packaged with care in order to protect them during transport. Delivery will be made to the address given by the buyer and indicated on the paypal invoice.
The processing time of the shipment is 3 to 5 working days for the works of the gallery. For special orders it depends on the time needed to complete them. The cost of shipping will be added to the price of the work indicated on the product sheet at the time the transaction is concluded
It is possible to collect a work from the artist’s studio.
The buyer will be able to track his parcel using the tracking number that the seller will send him by email.
The respect of delivery times and the preservation of the work during delivery depend on the carrier. Therefore, no claim for compensation of any kind may be made by the buyer in the event of delayed delivery or failure to deliver.
RETURN and REFUND
If the box is damaged during transport, the buyer must open it in front of the carrier’s employee and in case of damage have him sign a statement of the package. It may be wise to photograph the delivery person with the damaged work so that the carrier’s insurance can compensate the damage. The buyer must also immediately notify the seller so that the latter can notify the carrier
The seller does not accept refunds or returns for works made to order.
For other works, the buyer has 14 days after receipt to send them back by registered mail with signature and ad valorem insurance and must inform the seller by email before sending the return. The cost of the artwork will be reimbursed to the buyer after the seller has received the work in good condition. Return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
The work must be returned with the accompanying certificate of authenticity.
